How to update DirectQuery Parameter using .NET or Javascript SDK

I am trying to figure out if its possible to update a parameter in a DirectQuery from .Net or Javascript code. I am embedding a report inside of a web application. The DirectQuery runs through an on-premise DataGateway that is installed on our server.

Here is a generic version of the DirectQuery.
