Marketplace Visuals showing black background in Service (Word Cloud)

Hi,

I have been developing with the custom word cloud visual found on the PBI marketplace.

The issue I have:

When I am working in desktop, I see the visualization with a white background.
When I publish to service (Both PBI Service and Report Server) the same visual has a black background

Examples:

1. Word Cloud in Desktop (showing white background)

2. Word Cloud in Service (showing Black background)

3. Back in desktop, Word Cloud background color set to white

background off in desktop:

Have you tried to turn off Background?

yes, I have tried it with both the background on, off, and set to a transparency of 50%

I have updated my post above with images of both

I have also tried using a new PBIX file, and have not applied any themes to either workbook

I could not reproduce the issue. Can you share a Power BI Dekstop Report?

Are facing this issue with other visuals?

I could not repro the issue. Most likely styles from some other plugins or other custom visuals leak.

Have you tried incognito mode of Google Chrome?

Happy to hear that.

It seems some browser plugin or something else overrides background color.
