Hi all,

Need help with the following error given to me when using the command:

pbiviz --create-cert

Since I have very little experience with command prompt coding, I am looking to create a custom powerBI visual with r embedded code, but rely on your expertise to help me or if the rror is in node.js can you send a link to where I may find a fix? System I'm running on is windows 8, 64 bit.

We will investigate this issue from our side and get back.

As a short term solution please install the previous version of pbiviz by executing this command:

npm i -g powerbi-visuals-tools@1.10.1

This issue has been covered in powerbi-visuals-tools@1.11.3.

Could you please install a new version and let us know if it solves the issue?

npm i -g powerbi-visuals-tools@1.11.3

As far as I know, Windows 7 requires an installed OpenSSL to generate a certificate.
