Hi Folks,

Is there any way to input description for each report and get the description in teh WEB API?

Hi Pulikkan,

As far as I know, there isn't such a feature. What do you want to achieve? Maybe we can find a workaround. Power BI REST API reference: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/power-bi/.

@v-jiascu-msft I have this same issue, I need to be able to pull the the description to show the purporses of the report in my custom app. Do we have a solution already for this? I used both APIs GetReportsInGroup and GetReportsInGroupAsAdmin and neither returns the description filed that I set up in Power BI service for the reports.
