Use Drillthrough in Custom Visual?

Is it possible to use drillthrough in a Power BI Custom Visual?

If so, could you please provide a snippet of your visual.ts file to show how it's to be used? I've been searching for documentation on it and nothing has turned up - I'm beginning to think its not available for developers yet and only for the official visuals provided by Power BI.

I'm not sure that this feature is supported by Power BI Custom Visuals API.

You can take a look at Drilldown documentation.

I don't think that Power BI Custom Visuals API supports drillthrough feature.

We'll update once it's supported by API.

It would be really nice if we had lots of control over what drill through targets the menu shows. In a large report, the drill through menu is too cluttered with every possibility, some are nonsensical.

Hi,

Allthough this has nothing to do spicifically with custom visuals, you can however control which drill throughs are visible on what visuals.

This can be done by creating a unique field and placing this in the visual where you want to drill through and as the drill through filter on the drill through page.

Other visuals that don't have this specific field will not show that specific drill through page.

This works fine in my apps.
