Sand Dance in the US: Understanding trends at the County Level

Over the past 3 years, I have collected data at the US County Level. In this dataset, I have over 100 columns of data for every county in the United States (> 3,100 counties). This includes data from the US Census, Center for Disease Control, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and presidential election results from the 2008, 2012 and 2016 elections.

Sand Dance is a Power BI Custom Visual produced by Microsoft Research. It is a great tool for analyzing many distinct entities (counties at the row level) with many separate measures (columns of data). Sand Dance facilitates the rapid exploration of data by making it very easy to switch data columns as well as chart types.
