COVID-19 impact on hotel reservations in Italy between January and June 2020.

Surveyed hotels have been clustered into 3 different categories based on their location (ART for cities like Rome, Venice, Florence, .., BUSINESS for cities like Milan, Turin, Bologna, ... and LEISURE for seaside, lake, mountains destinations).

Reservations have been grouped into 2 categories to distinguish transient (individual travellers) and groups.

Daily amount of new reservations and cancelled reservations is categorized by country of residence of travellers.

Daily data on the geographic distribution of COVID-19 new cases and deaths worldwideabout are provided by ECDC (European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control ).
