This Power BI Dashboard is showing the structure of AdventureWorks Analysis Services Tabular Models. It can also be used to document tabular models created in Power BI, SSAS or Excel Power Pivot. Furthermore, the dashboard provides in depth analysis of where Analysis Services model optimization is required.

The model includes:

---> Tables & its relationships & associated meta data

---> Columns & its relationships & associated meta data

---> Relationships, its cardinality & associated keys

---> Measures, its dependencies & DAX Code

---> Security & its management

---> Power Query definitions & its M Code

---> Calculated Columns & its DAX Code

---> Calculated Tables & its DAX Code

---> User Hierarchies

---> Encoding, Compression & its meta data

---> Data Types etc.

Is this directly related to a tabular model? Meaning you could change the connection string to a differnt cube and the file would automatically work?

Yes it does.

You can point the connection parameters to the different cube and it will refresh with the metadata of the model.

You can use it to document Power BI, SSAS Tabular and Power Pivot Data Models.

Would you mind giving a little more detail on what is meant by "point the connection to the different cube"? Also, which AdventureWorks db version is being used in the analysis?

I like the overall approach to the analysis.
