This project delves into the world of LEGO, leveraging a comprehensive dataset spanning 5 decades to explore the evolution of LEGO sets. We aim to unveil hidden trends, patterns, and insights that illuminate the changing landscape of LEGO over time.

In this LEGO exploration project, my primary goal was to construct a one-page summary that serves as a visual narrative, capturing the overarching trends in LEGO set evolution. I aimed to spotlight key areas deserving of attention and further analysis.

Key Point: Number of usages of LEGO sets was rapidly increased year on year. Therefore, Year 2022 has the highest total LEGO sets 967 followed by 2021, 2017 and 2016. Year 1974 has lowest total LEGO sets 40 followed by 1970 and 1972.

Key Point: Normal Category have highest total of LEGO sets percentage 69.12%, followed by Gears and Others.

As per this analysis, Year 2022 has the highest total Retail price USD 28,963 followed by 2021 and 2020.
Top 5 themes by Retail price over the years are Gear followed by Star Wars, City, Technic and Duplo.
Top 5 themes by Retail price over the years are Ultimate collector series followed by Licensed, 3 in 1, Miscellaneous and Storage.

Key Findings:
In 2022, the total LEGO count reached 967, marking a 2,317.50% increase since 1974, the year with the lowest total LEGO count at 40.
LEGO's production surged from the mid-20th century.
LEGO Search Worldwide trended up, with a 385.00% increase between January 1, 2004, and December 1, 2022.
The top five favoured themes include Gear, Duplo, Star Wars, City, and Collectable Minifigures.
The most expensive LEGO sets in five decades are AT-AT and Millennium Falcon, each costing $849.99, followed by Identity and Landscape Kit, Connection Kit, and Imperial Star Destroyer.
LEGO expanded its categories from three in 1970 to seven in 2022, with the "Normal" category accounting for 69.47% of total LEGO.
The LEGO set with the most pieces is the World Map set, featuring 11,695 pieces, followed by The Ultimate Battle for China with 10,004 pieces.
