I’m excited to share the second version of my Power BI stock tracking dashboard! This version builds on the one I released a year ago, introducing several new features, all developed with native visuals. One of the most significant additions is the candlestick chart, which is crucial for analyzing stock market trends because it shows price movements over time, including the opening, closing, high, and low prices. This comprehensive view helps traders and analysts make informed decisions by identifying patterns and potential market shifts.

Candlestick Chart: Created using Power BI’s native visuals, essential for understanding price fluctuations and market trends.
Near Real-Time Stock Data: Powered by a Python script that integrates with the free Yahoo API, offering live updates for major NASDAQ & NYSE companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, and Apple.
Interactive Watchlist: Track your preferred stocks with near real-time updates.
Dynamic Timeframes: Toggle between 30-day, 3-month, and other intervals to explore stock performance over time.
Light/Dark Mode: Switch between light and dark modes for a customized viewing experience.
Animated Text: Using Power BI’s native SVG capabilities, I added animated text for a more dynamic dashboard experience.
Guided Tour: The Guided Tour feature helps users quickly get familiar with the dashboard’s functionality and navigation.
Clean, Professional Interface: A user-friendly layout designed for quick and actionable insights.
