lookupvalue from another table

hello there,

As shown below, I want to find whether the data in one column (contains many duplicated value) is exists in another table, I used the LOOKUPVALUE DAX as below, but only part of the cells in the new column that I created for checking returned the result. the rests are always blank. I'm struggling on this for days. Is anyone know this issue and can help me?

Just checking the Microsoft documentation here LOOKUPVALUE function (DAX) - DAX | Microsoft Learn:

When you read the alternate Result:
"When not provided, the function returns BLANK when result_columnName is filtered down to zero value or an error when more than one distinct value."

That should be your issue.

philouduv thanks, however in my screenshot, the search value is actually all same. what confuse me is only some of the cell can get the correct value from other table, but some can't

I solved by myself, that I have an active relationship caused that problem.
