Ranking based on date (Calculated Measure)

I need to rank a table based on dates as shown in the example below (we can assume there are more ID's but for simplicity i only included one)
I have tried
= Rankx ( allselected('table'[id]), SelectedValue('table'[date]), desc )

but i only get rank = 1 for both ID's

= Rankx ( allselected('table'[id]), CALCULATE ( SelectedValue('table'[date])), desc )
