Power BI value comparison and display of changes

Hello,

to the circumstances:

I have an Excel spreadsheet as a data source with a status column containing Sting values. The status is always assigned to a month.Using Power BI, I use a table to display the status values. To do this, I use a filter to select the month of May, for example, and the values are displayed in the corresponding column. I integrated a calendar via Power BI.

Now I'm having trouble with the following problem:

I use a filter to select May and display the values in the table. Next, the changes compared to the previous month should be displayed (the status values may have been in other columns in April). Unfortunately I haven't gotten that yet. By changes I mean that values are in a different column, have been added or are dropped.

I imagine it like this: The month of May is selected and the status values are displayed in the table. The values that have changed are marked in bold using an additional button.

Can you help me?

It's not easy, or even possible, to give you a solution or guide you. The word description is not enough. If you could give some context by placing some pictures of your model and data, maybe also the final result you'd like, then it'd be easier.
