I have a requirement to give a link of excel sheet in our PBI dashboard.

Please let me know is this can be doiable . Is it possible to put an excel link in Power BI dashboard.

Anonymous , is excel sheet available as a link on onedrive, dropbox or some other location. You can set that URL in column with category as URL and use that in report and dashboard

Hi amitchandak ,

Ya Actually, Im talking about regarding I want to provie a excel sheet in a textbox / button with a hyperlink. Which I'm able to do that. But when i'm using its from a teams Link.

When i click that Button / Text ( which have an action item with Teams url Provided ) it is directly opening in the web browser teams --> Teams --> files --> excel file is getting opend.

But how to do that when a user click that Button / Text Item. it should open excel but how to hide / disable the teams just want to open the excel in browser / local machine.

For that do we need to pt that in any sharelocation? if so even it will open that file in the share location and user need to have access for that sharelocaiton / teams folder.
