      <title>Quarter over quarter</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all, I believe this is something not very serious but I'm&amp;nbsp; strugling and&amp;nbsp; need bit of your help with DAX to compare quarter over quarther:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;img /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;So I am comparing row value with the value 3 months back.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Currently I've tried:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Desired result = &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;CALCULATE(SUM('Portfolio status'[Progress, %]),&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;PREVIOUSQUARTER('Portfolio status'[Period]))&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I also tried PARALELPERIOD and DATEADD - none of them worked &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":disappointed_face:"&gt;😞&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Funkcje, ktore operuja na datach, potrzebuja odpowiedniej tabeli. Nie mozesz sobie byle jakiej kolumny wcisnac jako argumentu. Zapoznaj sie z dokumentacja jednej z funkcji typu time-intelligence: &lt;A href="https://dax.guide/previousquarter" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://dax.guide/previousquarter&lt;/A&gt;. Dobrze przeczytaj od poczatku do konca.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Functions that operate on dates require a proper date table. You can't just stick any column from any table as the argument into them. Please make yourself familiar with at least one of the time-intelligence functions at &lt;A href="https://dax.guide/previousquarter" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://dax.guide/previousquarter&lt;/A&gt; and read through the docs from beginning to end.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
