Hi all, I believe this is something not very serious but I'm strugling and need bit of your help with DAX to compare quarter over quarther:

So I am comparing row value with the value 3 months back.

Currently I've tried:

Desired result =

CALCULATE(SUM('Portfolio status'[Progress, %]),

PREVIOUSQUARTER('Portfolio status'[Period]))

I also tried PARALELPERIOD and DATEADD - none of them worked 😞

I am not sure how your data model looks like, but I think it is better to use Dim-Calendar-Table when creating time intelligence measures.

CALCULATE( [Progress], DATEADD('Calendar'[Date], -1, QUARTER))

Funkcje, ktore operuja na datach, potrzebuja odpowiedniej tabeli. Nie mozesz sobie byle jakiej kolumny wcisnac jako argumentu. Zapoznaj sie z dokumentacja jednej z funkcji typu time-intelligence: https://dax.guide/previousquarter. Dobrze przeczytaj od poczatku do konca.

Functions that operate on dates require a proper date table. You can't just stick any column from any table as the argument into them. Please make yourself familiar with at least one of the time-intelligence functions at https://dax.guide/previousquarter and read through the docs from beginning to end.
