Data Importing issue at desktop from sQL server via VPN

Hello folks,

While importing data from Server to Pbi desktop via VPN is getting below erro.

Actually I have developed the dashboard based on sample data and want to import first 1 year data in desktop from sQL server to desktop via VPN, Many times getting error like below.

Please help on this.

What could be the error .

Anonymous , Power BI is not able to reach server.

Make sure your VPN is on.

Make sure that SQL Server is reachable from the machine power bi desktop machine

Check with small data are you able to load.

Check timeout setting if you are able to load small data -https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Query-Timeout-on-update/td-p/53459

Is your VPN connection working , Are you able to query the stuffs from Sql server when VPN is connected ?

Yes VPN was on but meanwhile it seems vpn error.

and I am trying to import just small amount of data which are already imported in PQE but while transforming like appending it is taking too much time.

After completing all task, Was trying to refresh at pbi desktop side so it is througing error.

Sometimes VPN and sometimes Net Speed.

I have filterd 2 months of data and develoloped the dashboards but wanting to show last 1 year of data in desktop so trying to import this from SQL server.

Is there any other way to do this please suggest.

Yes Kumar, VPN was connected but meanwhile many times it is coming error.
