Please help: SUMX function not working. Is there another function I should be using?

My SUMX formula is not working

I want the Runout measure to subtract the Inventory column and the daily usage column. How can I do that? I tried using SUMX function but it's giving me amounts that is not the correct subtraction result.

Runout = SUMX(RunOutTable, RunOutTable[Inventory] - [Daily Usg])

Daily Usage = [QtyTotal]/([DateDuration] * (5/7)) - This is a measure not a column.

Column "Inventory" is TotalPhysicalInvent - Delivery Remainder.

Runout = SUMX(

RunOutTable,

RunOutTable[Inventory] - CALCULATE([Daily Usage], RunOutTable)

)

Daily usage is a measure not a column. When I inserted your formula I get this message. Is there another method we can try? Also, thank you for responding.

mformagnificent , You are getting this error because daily usage is measure , either convert in calculated column

or use below

Runout = SUMX(

RunOutTable,

RunOutTable[Inventory] - [Daily Usage]

)

Runout = SUM ( RunOutTable[Inventory] ) - [Daily Usg]
