Hello Power BI community,

I'm looking to implement dynamic currency conversion in Power BI for a project involving sales data spanning from 2022 to 2024. The challenge lies in dynamically adjusting sales amounts to the user-selected currency type using exchange rates that vary annually from 2022 to 2024.

Details:

Sales Table (Sales): Contains transactional data with columns TransactionID, Amount, Currency, and TransactionDate covering the period 2022 to 2024.

Currency Exchange Rates Table (ExchangeRates): Includes columns such as Currency, TargetCurrency, ExchangeRate, and Year, with exchange rates provided for each year from 2022 to 2024.

Objective:

When a user selects a currency type from a slicer (SelectedCurrency), all sales data displayed in Power BI visuals should dynamically convert to reflect the selected currency based on the corresponding exchange rate for that year.
