topic Disconnected table and slicer selection in DAX Commands and Tips

I am making a report where I have airline information like as shown. The original data contains the airport codes in 3 splitted columns. I performed Look Up on each of the rows in each column to get the Country name. I inserted calculated column names Route 1- Route 2, Route 2- Route 3. NOw the problem I am facing are (1) since this lookup and concatenation is performed in the modelling tab, I am not able to perform unpivot to bring all the Routes in the same column. Is there a way to unpivot outside Power Query? (2) To workaround, I prepared a look up table named Route and wrote a DAX code to calculate the count of routes distributed in two columns. However the values are not varying with the slicer selection since the Look up table and the master table are disconnected. What DAX will make the values vary with the change of airline name? Please help
