Table and Matrix interaction when selecting

Hi,

I have these two visuals:
Table 1 contains: Material, Date and M1

Matrix 2 contains: Material, Date and M2.

when I select a line in T1, Matrix 2 shows the selected material from T1 as well as the date.

However, I would like Matrix 2 to show the material only and ignore the date selected in T1.

Is that possible somehow?

Hi MagikJukas "it depends", basically you want 2 different measure, which is esentially one measure with 2 option?

If yes, usually measure to not affect / calculate Date column could be in general

CALCULATE(
[Your Measure],

REMOVEFILTERS(<Yourtable>[YourColumn])
)

they are two different measures.

the problem is that material and date are used in both visualizations.

therefore, when I select a line in table 1, it filters on the same material date combination in matrix 2.

I wish to filter only material in the matrix and not the combination of material and date.

I hope it is clearer now
