Now, I believe that this function has a deadly bug, the reason why this confusing consequence happened is because the accuracy of the decimal fraction, the main bug may caused by the increment.
When I keep adding 0 for the last number, until it's reached to 0.30000000000000001, 0.3 appeared, so I think the increment 0.1 here is not the REAL 0.1 as its looks, in fact the true increment number of 0.1 is actually 0.10000000000000001, that's why I can't match 0.3 with "C".
I don't konw if it could be fixed in the next version, but it may cause errors when you use this fuction to generate a series like that, especially after it's used this in a slicer.

Yes, amyou are absolutely right. I noticed this behavior of GENERATESERIES but never in a context that would create a serious problem.
You did a greatly job investigating the issue. I urge you to report the same to Microsoft
