&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As far as I know, ALLEXCEPT() function will&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;return a table with all filters removed except for the filters on the specified columns.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Here I create a sample to help you understand the function.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;img /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can compare below measures which are created by ALL/ALLEXCEPT/ALLSELECTED. They will return similar results in my sample.&lt;/P&gt;

CALCULATE(SUM('Table'[Value]),ALLEXCEPT('Table','Table'[Region]))&lt;/LI-CODE&gt;&lt;LI-CODE lang="markup"&gt;ALL =

&lt;P&gt;Result is as below.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The logic of above measures are all suming based on region group.&lt;/P&gt;
