Power BI Visual - Route Map issue

I have different Ships and each ship have different alerts showing up in Pop up ,but now when i select different vessel the Popup alert not changing ,still showing the alert of very first one,
we are facing this from last week and also in Power BI Service only and the same working fine in Desktop version.

What version of Power BI Desktop and browser do you use?

Since it's third party custom visual we would recommend that you should reach out developer of Route Map to investigate this issue further.

I use latest release Feb release and browser is Crome and i tried different month release and the issue is same and it started appearing only from last weekend and it is also in Web version only ,Not sure MS is testing something for next month release,

No reply from deveoper,Why can't MS develop these usefull visuals by themseleves.

Now my users start compalining beacuse of this issue,Got struct now 🙂

I got reply from developer weiweicui on this,

And he reports that the issue reported seems to be issue with MS on the new update which is causing the issues,

Not sure might be after the lastest Feb monthly update.

If it's API related issue we would investigate this issue deeper since it might affect some other custom visuals.

Hi @urpalani,

Based on the investigation that we conducted we found that Route Map sends RowPKey column as a number but numbers are not allowed by Tooltip API (it allows and supports string type only).

Since this issue is related to Route Map there’re longterm and short tems solutions:

Short term solution is to remove RowPKey from Tooltip data field. After that you must save the report and open it again.
Long term solution is to update Route Map to convert numbers to strings (we asked developer in another email thread)
