Timeline slicer customise quaterly to trimesterly

Hello,

I have been using the timeline splicer and it is just what powerbi needs.

I was wondering it it was possible to add an option to change the quaterly report to a trimesterly report?

p.s. Also I'm wondering if it is possible to add an option to aggregate data as well for example:

Currently when choosing a quaterly view charts will show 3 months:

1st Quarter

Jan / Feb / Mar

But what if I wanted to show a chart for a year in quarters? So an aggregation of 3 months or an average of 3 months?

1 year in Quarterly view

1st Quarter / 2nd Quarter / 3rd Quarter / 4 Quarter

I'm afraid it's impossible in the short term because it will be the changing of one of the base mechanics so, the risk of regression bugs will be high. TimeLine Slicer is extremely popular visual so, we have to be quite accurate with every new features that we implement.

The second proposal is unclear to me. Could you please describe it with details?
