topic Creating single Parameter for multiple tables and that Passing Parameter in DAX in Custom Visuals Development Discussion

Hi,

I have 15 tables coming from SQL Db in my data modal and Each table contains minimum 2 to 4 different date columns. now we want to create common DAX for month, year, date, weekday, weeknumber, day for all tables.

so that we need to pass the parameter. But I'm not able to create a parameter (without refering a table) which I can use for all the tables and calling that in Dax.

That single Parameter and 6 Dax should be useful for all 15 tables, to show month, year, date, weekday, weeknumber, day seperately.

If anyone have solution, please share..

Hi,

I am afraid that DAX is out of our expertise.

You should ask in this thread.

Kind Regards,

Evgenii Elkin,
Software Engineer
Microsoft Power BI Custom Visuals
pbicvsupport@microsoft.com
