Power KPI Matrix - source code in github

I'm hoping to extend the Power KPI Matrix visual for a particular requirement. But unlike most Microsoft-produced Custom Visuals, I can't find the source code in github. Am I missing something?

Source code of Power KPI Matrix is private as it uses legacy Power BI Custom Visuals API.

We'll share the code later once everything is ready.

Do you have a time estimate for when you may be able to share this source code? I need to also put barcharts in the table, similar to the way we can already put sparklines.

Any news about this issue? We need a source code of visual component "Matrix" for customizing it on us requirements.

We want to add a checkbox column with interaction to our remote REST API service for saving/reading their states. Is it possible to modify the initial Matrix visual component? Thank you for an answer.

No plans to share source code of Matrix component since it's built into Power BI core code.

We would like to update the visual for adding tooltip on spark line so can we get the source code for the power kpi matrix custom visual source

can we get the alternate of this visual similar like power KPI matrix where in we can fulfill the tooltip requirement on sparkline

Is there any plan to update this visual and add tooltip for sparkline.

Source code is not ready to be published. Most likely it will be shared in Q2 more or less.

Actually, Power KPI Matrix already supports tooltips in Sparklines.

Does tooltip work for you?

Thanks a lot for ypur prompt response.

What I want is tooltip filed like we have normal line chart has tooltip field. sp we can put the other data which is not in the matrix field

Eg.

I have comment fields which I don't want on matrix but in spark line it should display in tooltip according to the x axis(Date) and comment if any on that (date).

Got you. Added this feature into our backlog #30215.

We are currently focusing on migrating Power KPI Matrix to versioned Power BI API. This is our priority for Q1.

Once migration is completed we will revisit this feature.

It is supposed to work in Org Store. We'll publish a blog post once it's released with a good feature definition.

Deprecation message is shown if there's no internet connection to PBI CDN.

Another idea is to clear Power BI Desktop cache by removing evrything at these folders:

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop
C:\Users\%username%\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop Store App
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop SSRS
