Yet this Post on the Power BI seems to point me back to the same .msi file I downloaded for the DataManagementGateway. Unless they've retired a PowerBI-specific gateway ? https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/data-management-gateway-introduction/

Couldn't agree more, in fact I'm glad I found this post, I just downloaded the DMG, and wondered if it was the identical file to the PowerBI gateway, and it seems from your post its not. As an enterprise architect, I'm researching PowerApps, as well as PowerBI, which MS seem to be pushing as the future of everything, and I'd want to install a single gateway on our data warehouse. Surely these products need to merge or co-exist.

I heard a rumour about April, but can't seem to get anything confirmed.
