I think Power KPI Matrix will calculate KPI Status by values in [Actual Value] and [Comparison Value]. This is based on your data model. You may refer to this sample file from creator to learn more details.

Hello, I am using the KPI Power Matrix visual. How is the KPI Status column calculated?

In the screen shot, KPI Status = +11% but the difference between the Completion % (actual KPI value) and target is 10%. No 11%. See additional screen shots for other values

Thanks
