Power BI Embedded: Report Theme Inheritance?

Are report themes not inherited in Power BI embedded?

Scenario:

We have a Report that is using an underlying custom theme. When the report objects are pinned to a Dashboard, the user selects "Keep current theme" and all looks well in the Power BI Service between the Dashboard and the Report. :smileyhappy:

Consuming the Dashboard object via the Power BI JavaScript SDK results in the "default" theme for the Dashboard and the custom report theme for the Report. :smileysad:

The following JavaScript warning is thrown:

Value: Error loading theme - undefined

Is this expected behavior or a bug?
