topic DAX generator for PowerBI - plans to open source? in Developer

Are there any plans on open sourcing the code behind generating DAX queries in power bi?

We have a few applications that query Analysis Services and we are looking at moving to tabular models with SQL 2016. It would be extremely beneficial to reuse the code used to generate dax in powerbi rather than write our own.

That is unlikely.

What's your intended use case for your Tabular models? If you want a query builder, you can use anything that generates MDX, e.g. SSRS, Excel Pivots, Tableau.
