Treemap visuals on Desktop (August RS Preview)

Which data source do you connect to? 

Based on my test, it's able to visualize data from the SQL database with import mode use Treemap.

Hi v-qiuyu-msft,

I tried connecting to a SQL database using import mode and get the issue:

I also tried with live connection to SSAS, and get the same issue.

All other visuals seem to work fine, but whenever I select the treemap visual, the visual just hangs.

Could it be possible that the table has large amount of data? Please try to filter to display less data to see if it can works. 

Or could you please restart the machine which has desktop run?

Hi v-qiuyu-msft, that was on a table with 6 rows. Other visuals load instantaneously. I have restarted and retried but still get the same issue.

I have the non-RS August version of Power BI Desktop installed side-by-side, and the treemaps work fine for me there.

Hi v-qiuyu-msft, I downloaded and reinstalled Power BI Desktop RS from that link, but I still get the same issue with Treemaps. (By the way, your first link has some special characters in it, so it didn't work.)
