I have the same problem as well as Shahana. My company is using an on-premise SharePoint 2013, and the on-premise Power BI Report Server. I'm using the Power BI Desktop optimized for the on-premise Power BI Report Server.
I'm the site owner on a company's Sharepoint site, and I'm pretty sure my Windows AD account have the full control access in SharePoint. I'm getting the "access to the resource is forbidden", when I'm using the Windows account in Power BI Desktop to connect to the SharePoint site. Using Microsoft account is not an option, because everything is behind company firewall on presmise.
Any suggestion?
