All the steps suggested here was already done...

This is power bi service, connecting direclty to snowflake using native connector.

    Import mode: Dual

    quote:"

    Two options

    1. Run SHOW PARAMETERS LIKE 'ODBC_QUERY_RESULT_FORMAT'

    1. See if this option says value is "ARROW"
    2. If ARROW, run ALTER USER SET ODBC_QUERY_RESULT_FORMAT='JSON'

    2. If that did not work, contact Snowflake support to set ODBC_TREAT_DECIMAL_AS_INT=false in the server properties."

    Option one didnt worked...
I also have a ticket opened for sknowflake.

    Hi glopreto ,

Please check if the following two options will help you with your problem

    1. Run SHOW PARAMETERS LIKE 'ODBC_QUERY_RESULT_FORMAT'

    1. See if this option says value is "ARROW"
    2. If ARROW, run ALTER USER SET ODBC_QUERY_RESULT_FORMAT='JSON'

    2. If that did not work, contact Snowflake support to set ODBC_TREAT_DECIMAL_AS_INT=false in the server properties.

    Sorry for my miss.

Based on the above information, if you are a Power BI Pro licensee, you can create a support ticket for free and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.
It would be great if you continue to share in this issue to help others with similar problems after you know the root cause or solution.
