PowerBI Service - New Filter Experience - Lost setups hide/show filter for visuals
Hi team,
After done to update our reports to use new filter experience we must go through all reports/visuals to choose which filter to show or not. But after update (maybe from 2019-04-10) we got issue is all filters of visual showed and can not hidden, even MS have fixed with version 2.68.5432.841 64-bit (April 2019).
But problem is:
We need to go through all reports/visual to choose which one should be show or not again?
Can you tell me how to update all reports/visuals to old versions before on PowerBI Service?
We are use PowerBI Embeded so all these updates to impact to our customer experience and they are really not happy with that.
Regards, Giang.

Hi giangn,
1. We need to go through all reports/visual to choose which one should be show or not again?
The issue that hidden filter still be visible in Power BI service is already fixed: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/Clicking-on-a-Visual-Always-Displays-All-Fields-in-Visual-Level/idi-p/663531. In your scenaior, if you have the pbix file, which already hide desired filter in new filter pane, you can republish this report to Power BI service.
2. Can you tell me how to update all reports/visuals to old versions before on PowerBI Service?
Not sure what you mean update reports/visuals to old version. Do you mean open the report in old Power BI desktop version? If it is, you can get old Power BI desktop version here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-latest-update-archive

Hi giangn,
The hidden filter display Power BI desktop is expected, as we can edit report.
Please publish the report to Power BI service, open the report in view mode, the hidden filter shouldn't display in filter pane.

Hi v-qiuyu-msft ,
I must say you, it's not good when we need to re-publish and review all reports for hidden/show filter after update.
Our backup file doesn't keep any setting on visual filter when open by new PowerBI Desktop.
We have done to update by manual hidden filter.
Please take care on all updates, it's really impact to our business users.
