I am sharing dashboards through an app and content pack within my organization. I thought there would be an option to upgrade to power BI pro for free for another 12 months if you had an account before June 1, 2017.
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-extended-pro-trial/
However, for users who had an account before June 1, 2017 and were on the 60 day free trial no longer have the option under notifications to extend for 12 months. This was previously available to other employees who ended their 60 day trial sooner. Is there some other way to get the free upgrade or have the rules changed?

Hi afelber,
Please provide your PUID via this link: https://portal.office.com/account/#subscriptions , then I can validate internally the user is eligible.
Also note the current problems with the Pro Trial activation:
- The extended pro trial prompt that shows in-product is not working right now. So even eligible users are not able to view the notifications when they login.
- The pro trial activation link also got broken incidentally.
PG team are working on the fix now, If I get the information that the fix is deployed, will let you know.
Best Regards,
