Since last week, I do not see all the datasets I should be able to connect to in Excel anymore.
What I do:
Open Excel -> Get Data -> From Power Platform -> Power BI
It opens up a tab on the right hand side and shows serveral datasets you can connect to. However, I miss many datasets. I only see two. Previously I saw all datasets I am allowed to connect to in this dataset pane.
However, when I search for a dataset name in the search field, it does actually pop up, but yeah, then you have to guess what the dataset name is, which many end users do not know. And.. before it was not like this.
Does anyone experience this issue as well?

I tried to reproduce the problem but without success, and it still works in my case.
Have you checked your permissions in Power BI? Is it because your dataset permissions have been changed?Best Regards,
Community Support Team _ CaitlynMy dataset permissions haven't changed and I can still connect to the datasets via Excel when I search for the dataset in the search bar. When I open the connection to the Power BI datasets as described I see the following. Only two datasets.
Once I search for a particulair dataset, it does show up and I can connect to it without any problem:The end users I spoke to within my organization are all running into the same problem.
