I have Power BI reports that have a live connection to Azure Analysis Services. For months, when we open up the .pbix files, it opens up two sign-in windows. This requires us to enter our credentials twice before being able to open the file.

In Edit Queries-> Data source settings, clear the permissions of azure analysis service and connect again, then check if this issue persists.

v-yuta-msft , this is not possible with a live connection to Azure Analysis Services. You only have the ability to change the server or the model name. You do not have the option to change permissions:
