Missing Save Button on PowerBI Embedded Free Version

Do you have a feature in your report that is not supported by the free version?

Sometimes, screen resolution or browser zoom settings can hide buttons. Try adjusting these settings or using a different browser.

No.  These buttons were there previously.   There is a save button, which publishes the amendments and also other options, i.e. adding text boxes etc.  These are no longer there.

APP: MS/LISTS app.
FEATURE: Integrate > Power BI > Visualize List

BROWSER: MS/Edge for Business [Version 129.0.2792.89 (Official build) (64-bit)]

ACTION: Click on EDIT in the top-left menu of the Power BI Visualizer web app. 
ISSUE: Once I click on the EDIT menu item, I can edit the visualization, but I loose the menu,

WHAT WORKS: CTRL-S (save) and CTRL-R (refresh) 

I am able to make changes and save them via CTRL-S. 

I am able to reload the web app and see my changes and see the top-left menu again using CTRL-R.

FIRST OCCURANCE: I made a presentation on Tueday (10/8/2024) and was doing edits later that day.

Some time between Tuesday and about Thrusday (10/10/2024) I noticed the menu started disappearing when I clicked on EDIT. 

CORRECTIVE ACTIONS I'VE TRIED

1. Cleared CACHE and COOKIES
2. Gave app.powerbi.com higher permissions.

Thanks for giving a better description than me.  I'm new to using this embedded free version but it has been absolutely fabulous.

I've tried changing from Dark Mode to Light Mode, clearing cache as above but there the toolbar buttons are still missing 😞

Did you say the Control S does save the new changes?
