Hi randyvolters,

From your description, you are getting data from SQL database via DirectQuery mode in Power BI desktop, right?

As the error message "Couldn't load the model schema" points out, the issue seems the data couldn't be retrieved. Would you please go to Query Editor and check if any data is retrieved?
