Hidden tab visible always visible after publishing issue

Steps to reproduce : I hide the selected tab in my report. I keep focus on the hidden tab content. I save and publish my Power BI report. I open my report in https://app.powerbi.com/ Issue : ...

Hi Anonymous ,

Not certain what did the 'hide tab' and 'keep focus' mean based on your description. Hide fields in the table or hide pages or anything else?

 

If it means hide table fields in the report in Power BI Desktop, it is by design. When hiding fields in the report, it would not affect visuals interaction which have been created.

 

Also, when publishing to Power BI Service, you cannot see the hidden fields under the edit mode but the visuals which have been created based on the hidden fields could still been seen.
