We regularly use the GetAppUsersAsAdmin API endpoint to obtain a list of users that have access to an App.
With the new App experience and addition of 'Audiences' , is there or will there be a way to differentiate which users belong to which audience, because currently we just see a list of all users for the app regardless of the audience they belong to?

Also curious about this support as we are currently planning to use this endpoint to build up a platform monitoring. Is there a way to differentiate? Will the API work with the new experience? Will there be another API added to query this info?

Hi RyanBentham ,
If you would like to suggest some feature improvements. I have found users with similar needs to you here Ideas (powerbi.com) , you may vote the idea and comment to improve this feature. It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
Best regards,

I am also looking for the audience the app user belongs to, via API.

Any news on this? We would really appreciate this feature to better control access rights to our embedded application.

Hello, any news on this topic ?
I have the same need . Have a way to get the users associated to each audience in a way that we can map all our audience and users, to scan if the access are right. Is there any other solution for that ?
Thanks,Regards,

Hi,
Please check with your tenant admin. They will be capturing activity logs, which you can use to get details such as which browser users are using to open reports and whether they are using an iOS device, etc

We automate onboarding new workspaces/security groups but this is one thing we're waiting on for APIs. Please make some APIs available to manage App and Audiences.
1. Create App
2. Add Tab or Audience
3. Add/Remove User/Groups for each tab
Also, more importantly, expand the "Create Group" API to add "Allow contributors to update the App" feature.
Thanks in advance.
