You can clear your Desktop cache and then try refresh in Desktop again . 

In Options=> Data Load=> Data Cache Management Options .

I'm having the same issue, starting a couple days ago. Clearing the cache also doesn't resolve the error. 

I am also having this issue and it's very difficult to determine what the issue is. 

We seem to have the same issue, when trying to connect to a dataflow.

Several tables are taken from a dataflow - three tables return the above error upon refresh. The rest seems to refresh properly.

This occurs on only one computer - mine works fine.

Andrzej - you are only getting this message on one computer??? Unfortunately, it is happening on both my surface laptop and my virtual machine.  This is annoying especially since it is working in the Power BI Service.  So my work around is to refresh in Power BI and then export the PBIX to C drive to edit in Power BI Desktop.  I am luck that I can still download as I understand this can break.

Yes. One computer only.

We have 2 Power BI Developers - We tried different combinations with taking ownership of the dataflow.

Perhaps it is connected with Incremental Refresh - so far only the tables, that are using Incremental Refresh, seem to be affected.

It seems to be either account-related, PBI Desktop-related, or Environment-related, as it works perfectly within Power Bi Service.

We will attempt to disable incremental refresh on one table to check, whether this helps.

3. performed dataflow refresh (refresh failed)

4. checked the power query editor during edit of pbix file - same result (error with SsLStream)
