Date/time settings don't match operating system in December 2021 update
As of this morning, anything set with the aserteriks date/time format has started coming through as US format rather than UK. This hasn't been an issue until the December 2021 update.

Status changed:NewtoInvestigatingCould not reproduce in my side as far as my test. When set the location as UK, the time works fine in Power BI Desktop.
In addition, what is your data source and 'aserteriks date/time format' represent in your report, looks like the column format could not be changed in Power BI.

Thanks for looking into this. It's across multiple datasources where the default date setting is the * one. Here's another example where I am in the dataset, not the report like I was previously.
Is there another system setting I should be checking outside date/time which Power BI Desktop feeds into?

v-yingjl Just to add, this is only when the date is displayed in a visual. The data model displays it correctly according to region (UK). Here's another example below where the LiveCeaseDate_KUT is correct in data model (UK) however displays as US in visual
Visuals = mm-dd-yyyyData model = dd-mm-yyyy

Status changed:InvestigatingtoInvestigatingStill could not reproduce it in my side. Perhaps you can update to the latest version of Power BI Desktop(2.100.785.0) to check it again.
If it still has the same issue, you can consider sharing a sample file without any sentive information to reproduce this issue.
