Add group workspace failing

Which application do you mean? Could you share a screenshot how you share this application? 

Please share detail error message when the issue occurs.

Thanks I think it was a network issue.

I can share the PowerBI app but the external user can't see the app in its workspace even he is part of the members groups.

He only can see it in a dedicated workspace with anything else which is not really helpful as he has to close and to login again in powerbi.com

is it a limitation from PowerBI?

Which group do you added under Access section when you publish the app?

Is it a internal group or external group? 

Please share the app with external user with individual email address, then check if he/she can get the app follow: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-install-use-apps
