Workspace upgrade and sharing report with Microsoft 365 groups

It seems that upgraded Power BI workspaces are now working with Microsoft 365 groups. The workspace itself can be shared with a Microsoft 365 group. However, it is still now possible to share reports and assign RLS to Microsoft 365 groups. Why has this not been included in the upgrade of the new workspaces?
