Support Consecutive Selection in Matrix

By using "Ctrl", user is able to select multipule items in Matrix visual for filter on other visuals. But seems there is no way to select consecutive items, for example: the first 100 items, the items from 3rd to 55th, etc. By pressing "Shift" does not work. If there is a way supports consecutive selection will be more user friendly.
