Supercharged comments

The ability to add comments to dashboards is great, but it could be so much more. Additional options could include sorting, security, viewing and printing, searching... All of the below could be optional extras that are set per dashboard:

Sorting

- Additional sorting options would be great. Sorting oldest to newest should be very easy to implement, but how about sorting by username? Being able to sort by report slicers/elements would be even better. At its most basic, it'd would mean we could sort by GL Period, or account code.

Filtering

- With comments being bookmark-based, we know that clicking on a bookmark applies the relevant filters to the dashboard. Wouldn't it be great if the opposite also applied? In other words, when a user filters the report, the comments filter too. If GL Period is set to Jun-24, only those comments made against Jun-24 display.

Searching

- Another way to help navigate a list of long comments would be to have a Search function. Even the most basic functionality of searching by term would be a big help.

Visible bookmark details

- At a glance, it's not currently clear what each comment relates to until you click on it. Would it be possible to have the bookmark details visible in the comment header, or as a hover over pop-up?

Security settings

- Suggested elsewhere, but it would be really useful if comments were only visible to those with the relevant RLS access. Likewise, perhaps comments mentioning someone (@...) should only be visible to those mentioned. Being able to @ AD groups would be fab, too.

Formatting

- Rich text formatting or similar wouldn't go amiss, and could be useful for adding a bit of colour, highlighting important points etc.

Printing/extracting options

- An option to print /extract all comments would be much appreciated. They could form a separate file or be listed alongside/underneath the dashboard. Right now, it seems like you can only print whatever is visible on the first page, which isn't very useful.

Additional admin tools

- Other quality of life improvements could include the ability to lock/prevent further comments, and bulk deletion
