We have an saas based electronic billing application used by over 800 companies. We place report data files out on SFTP sites for each client. Is it possible to access data files on SFTP sites from Power BI?

- don_taylorNew MemberWe also have instances where it would be nice to import data from a SFTP site. This is available in competing products (clicdata.com).
- mdiazpNew Memberftp is considered less secure and it is being banned from several companies as a mean of sharing internal information. please consider adding a SFTP module for accessing files.

- ejaworeckiNew MemberPlease add a SFTP connector, this is an obvious gap in PowerBI today.

- vandersoNew MemberSftp connector would be great. I hope this is reviewed and comes soon to those of us that could really use it.
- richard_bradshaNew MemberThis is obviously an ongoing requirement - is there any response from the product team?
- akondapur1New MemberPlease Add SFTP connector. All other tools have this option, it would be amazing if Power BI gets it.
- saur_dashNew MemberPlease add this connector. We receive all external data via SFTP and being able to connect Power Query and Power Bi directly to the server would be extremely helpful.
