Set Active/Inactive steps in Query Settings

Add Active/Inactive option to Applied Steps Context Menu in Query Settings.

If this idea is to be able to disable steps without deleting it then this definitely has my vote. Not very convenient to comment out code etc whilst debugging. Would be easier to enable and disable steps.
