Allow a user to specify a REST URL as a data source.

- nishalitNew MemberYou can connect to REST APIs using Power BI Desktop and the "Web" connector.
- rgilmoreNew MemberI'd love to see both SOAP and REST URL's as datasources. I was hoping it would behave similar to Visual Studio when you add a new “web reference” for a SOAP WSDL. You give it the URL for a SOAP or REST webservice, have it display a list of services/methods at that address. Then select a service to call, and provide a few parameters, so that Power BI can make the call and pull back the data.
- henry_edwardsNew MemberIt would be very useful to have the SOAP API to be used as a Datasource.
